At the invitation of Niagara College, Brooke University, San Francisco State University, and California State University Sonoma, delegation of Guizhou Minzu University led by President Tao Wenlaing visited the above four universities from July 11 to 16.
The members of the delegation included Li Xueru, Director of the School Office, Zeng Li, Director of the International Office of Exchange and Cooperation , and Wu Shunbi, Vice Dean of the School of Media.

During the visit, the delegation held talks with the vice presidents and the heads of Office for International Relations of these universities. President Tao Wenliang introduced the history, the mission and the curriculum of GZMU at the meetings. Both sides had discussions on exchange projects such as student exchange programs, joint cultivation of master degree programs, faculty exchanges, and students’ summer camps, and reached preliminary intentions.

Though the visit is time-limited and tight-scheduled, it is a fruitful visit. It was of great significance to broaden the international vision of the faculty and staff members, improve the quality of talents cultivation, and then further boost the internationalization of GZMU.
