GZMU holds the 2021 International Conference on Big Data and Machine Intelligence

In order to promote big data mathematical models and data-driven machine intelligence research, promote the high-quality development of higher education, and enhance the level of internationalization of education, 2021 International Conference on Big Data and Machine Intelligence (ICBM), which organized by GZMU, and co-organized by the College of Data Science and Information Engineering and Office of International Exchange and Cooperation, held in Guiyang on November 20, 2021. Professor Zhou Jie, Vice President of GZMU attended and delivered a speech. Representatives from Guizhou University, Guizhou Normal University, Guizhou University of Finance and Economics, Guizhou Education University, Guizhou Industry and Polytechnic College, Guizhou Institute of Light Industry, Guizhou Cancer Hospital and other universities and research institutions attended the meeting. The opening ceremony was presided over by Yang Taiqian, director of theOffice ofInternational Exchange and Cooperation of GZMU.

Zhou Jie mentioned in his speech that GZMU attaches great importance to the development of artificial intelligence, data science and big data technology, computer science and technology and other related majors. The holding of this conference will play an important role in enhancing the interactive exchanges between the universities and research institutes, serving Guizhou artificial intelligence technology innovation, talent training, and industrial integration, and will promote the construction of related disciplines in ouruniversity.

Professor Xia Dawen, Dean of the College of Data Science and Information Engineering of GZMUpresided over the invited lecture part of the conference. This conference invited four well-known international experts on big data and artificial intelligence to give special lectures online: Rogue, New Jersey, USA Distinguished Professor Xiong Hui of Sri Lanka University made a special report on "Human and Social Nature in AI Algorithms", Professor Lin Xuemin of the University of New South Wales in Australia made a special report on "Big Graph Processing and Mining: Applications and Advances", National Singapore Professor Bao Weizhu, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Science of the University, gave a special lecture on "Modeling and Simulation for Solid-State Dewetting Problems", and Associate Professor Huang Hui of the University of Macau gave a "Training Method and Evaluation Strategy of Machine Translation Model based on Translation Difficulty" Specially invited report. Six representatives fromGuizhou Minzu University, Guizhou University of Finance and Economics and Guizhou Normal University gave lectures offline.

This conference brought together many experts and scholars in the field of big data and artificial intelligence at home and abroad to discuss the frontier dynamics of the subject and exchange the latest research results of the academic community.It responded to the needs of the new stage of big data development in Guizhou Province, exchanged and learned about the latest developments in the field of big data and artificial intelligence, focusing on in-depth discussions and exchanges on core issues such as models, AI algorithms and applications, and demonstrated big data and artificial intelligence.

ICBM aims to promote big data, mathematical models and data-driven machine intelligence research, and promote scientific exchanges among researchers, practitioners, scientists, students and engineers in data science and its affiliated disciplines, thereby promoting the high-quality development of higher education . The conference content includes big data analysis, mathematical models, data mining, machine learning, deep learning, knowledge representation and discovery, reasoning, big data security and ethics. Key topics include mathematical models, technologies, and applications that span data science and technology, as well as the bridge between big data and related research fields (for example, transportation, medical, business, education, etc.).
