On Monday, December 6, the Department of economics of Saga University and the Department of Japanese of Guizhou Minzu University carried out an online student exchange activity. Theactivity was presided over by Associate Professor Li Hai, head of the Japanese Department of GZMU. ProfessorNakamura Hirokazu and Associate Professor Gu Jinghong of the Economics Department of Saga University, Associate Professor He Fang and Associate Professor Wang Yuhong of the Japanese Department of our university attended and delivered speeches.
At the beginning of the activity, students fromboth universities respectively introduced the local conditions and customs of Guizhou Province and Saga County as well as their campus life. Then, the students from Saga University gave research reports on the interregional gap and the environmental issues of Japan. And the students from our university also made presentations on Guizhou Miao’s Embroidery and Zhenyuan-the ancient town in Guizhou.
During the free discussion, students showed their curiosity and asked questions about the social and cultural differences between Saga and Guizhou.In conclusion, professors from both universitiesattached great importance to this online activity for student exchange, and looked forward to multiple exchanges between Saga University and GuizhouMinzuUniversity indiverse fields. At the end of the activity, the studentsexpressedthanks and waved goodbye to their new friends.
