On December 19th, the signing ceremony of cooperation and exchange agreement between Guizhou Minzu University and Saga University of Japan was held online. President KodamaHiroshiand Vice President MishimaNobuoof Saga University, President Wang Lin and Vice President Zhou Jie of Guizhou Minzu University attended the ceremony. Mr.Okuma Masaski, Deputy Consul-General of the Japanese Consulate General in Chongqing, Ms. Xin Ying, Vice Consul of the Chinese Consulate General in Fukuoka, Japan, Ms. Lu Xiaoying, Director of the People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries of Guizhou Province, and Mr. Kazuya Iizaki，Head of International Department of Regional Exchange Department of Saga Prefecture attended the signing ceremony and delivered speeches as guests.

President KodamaHiroshisaid in his speech that this year marks the 50th anniversary of the normalization of China-Japan diplomatic relations. Yang Taiqian, Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Department of Guizhou Minzu University, mentioned that the signing of the agreement is a result of the previous cooperation and exchanges between the two universities, andshe firmly believes that the exchange and discussion will write a new chapter for promoting the education development of and humanities exchanges between the two universities.She also hopes that the two universities can carry out face-to-face exchanges between teachers and students as soon as possible.
